This coin pays tribute to the courage of all Coast Guard veterans, whose dedicated service has strengthened America’s security. The obverse features the Coast Guard emblem with “Veteran” in bold letters above. The reverse features a rendering of the American flag with USCG superimposed. The Coast Guard core values – honor, respect, and devotion to duty – are displayed along the rim.
Each coin measures 1 3/4 inch (44mm) in diameter.
